This is a visual progress gallery of my facial electrolysis journey over multiple sessions. Immediately after each* session, I took photos to document the changes, primarily around the area(s) of focus during the appointment. I wish that I had “before” photos from the session since these photos show redness and swelling, but I wanted to capture the immediate results. Some notes/considerations:
Electrolysis was done by Soheila Biria at A Gentle Touch (Rockville, MD).
This lidocaine was recommended, and was very helpful for pain.
I did not have any caffeine for 24 hours before each appointment.
I drank as much water as possible (80+ ounces) 2-3 hours before each appointment.
I did my best to apply ice, aloe gel, and moisturizer afterwards.
*I may have forgotten to take photographs after ~4 sessions.
